About The Job

Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will support the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Cell and you will be responsible to prepare, lead and conduct Vulnerability Assessments, present, analyse, provide remediation advice and report on data gathered during the audits, manage supporting documentation, conduct non-standard system audits such as ICS/SCADA and participate in NCI Agency and NATO Project Working Groups (WGs) as a Subject Matter Expert.

You will have to undertake frequent travels (up to 150 days per annum) and be away from your main station of duty.

About You

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Vulnerability Assessment Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of post-related experience.

A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.

You Should Also Have
  • Certifications in the area of Cyber Security such as SANS GIAC certifications in the 400/500 or 600 series, ITIL Foundation and Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Experience as a Team Member/Leader of a technical Vulnerability Assessment team for a large organisation, preferably at international level
  • Extensive knowledge of:
  • Cloud System Security Services and Configuration
  • Active Directory security configuration
  • execution of holistic technical Vulnerability Assessments, particularly in the threat-centric, contextual interpretation of Vulnerability Assessments results
  • Databases and Reporting application
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles of computer and communications security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications acquired through a blend of academic or professional training coupled with practical professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills with respect to briefing/presenting, report writing & mediation
  • Proven ability to brief at executive level on security findings, reports and testing outcome
  • Proven ability to write clear and structured technical reports including executive summary, technical findings and remediation plan for several different audiences
  • The willingness to support frequent travel with up to 150 days per annum away from main station of duty
