Expert Artwork Designer

Background

The Artwork Deployment Expert manages Design Projects to deliver excellence in design execution ensuring adherence the relevant processes (eg QuEST, Genesis), in line with the Global, Regional and Local processes and principles.

The job holder is responsible of the data management within the design process framework including Printed Packs Specification (Veritas).

Key outputs

Managing the design area of projects in line with QuEST and Genesis. This consists of:

• Managing cross-functional Design ATG from the Innovation Design Brief until the Printer Brief is sent to the supplier(s)
• Providing core ATG (activity task group) with Design ATG recommendations, including scenario and risk management and highlighting major issues and deviations to the agreed framework and outlines implications
• Briefing to Packaging Compliance for Legal Text Specification
• Briefing GPC(s) for Artwork rollout, compilation and repro
• Briefing to markets for Master Pack Copy translation
• Approval of EAN Code, Pack code, Language Grouping & Order at approval stage after compilation is done (incl. amend loops)
• Ensuring RFT design inputs and outputs (e.g. Briefing document, MPC, LTS, etc).
• Conducting Post Design Project Reviews and ensures communication of the learnings.

Data management:

• Range Overviews: responsible to provide Design reports and contributes to the Portfolio Management activities giving recommendation on design topics
• Key Users and Functional expert(s) of the Printed Packs Specifications management within Veritas, developing and implementing continuous improvements and ensuring the right expertise and WoW are in place

Qualifications

• Apprentice in Business sector and 2-3 years’ experience, BA student or University degree
• Fluent in English (written & spoken), other languages beneficial
• Functional experience preferred in Project Management, Marketing / Packaging / Graphics
• Affinity with IT tools
