Job Description

The overall objectives of this position are:

  • Controlling & Compliance for Group IT costs (IT costs and fees allocation, IT Infra NSCs invoicing, regular monitoring and reporting of IT costs to IT and business stakeholders)
  • Budgeting of IT costs (participate, prepare and supervise budgeting for IT Infra and IT Solutions (including software licenses management) scopes, review Programs budget, provide feedback to IT Directors, challenge the quality and validity of the data)
  • Standardize IT costs controlling templates and processes (in Cognos and ad-hoc templates)


Job description:

  • Develop solid IT controlling tools, tailored to the needs of the organization (at all levels: Group, Regions, Countries);
  • Make analysis on deviations between actuals and budgets, flag risks, challenge the budget owners to bridge gaps and monitor the action plans taken;
  • Facilitate benchmarking across Regions and Countries on IT spend across the Group
  • Conduct regular reviews of the financial performance of the Group IT Department;
  • Be fully responsible for the coordination of the IT budget process and the forecasting exercises;
  • Oversee re-invoicing of IT expenses to the commercial organization, including the development of an appropriate allocation methodology;
  • Ad hoc project management, including the implementation of Finance IT systems supporting the Group’s controlling activities;
  • Support the coordination & implementation of Group’s Finance policies & procedures.

Qualifications

Profile description:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

  • Very strong interpersonal skills as this role will interface with leaders of the Group as well as local resources and experts;

  • Able to complete quality work on a timely basis with attention to detail;

  • Proven track record of handling confidential and sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business
  • From 1 to 5 years of experience gained as a controller or a financial analyst. Controlling experience in the Headquarter team is preferable. Experience with an IT project is a plus.
  • Strong interest in IT, with experience in a Software company preferred
  • Data and coding experience is considered as a plus (e.g. VBA)
  • Excellent level in English with knowledge of other European languages
