To keep pace with this growth, we are seeking a highly experienced consultative leader to take on the newly created roleof Head of Application Management within our ever-expanding IT organization.

In thishigh-impact role, you willown and manage the entire internal IT application portfoliowithin delaware International’s IT department, ensuring alignment with our evolving business needs. Reporting directly to the CIO, your mission will be to drive application governance, rationalization, and optimization, ensuring that our technology effectively supports our business while minimizing unnecessary complexity.

What will you do?

You’ll be responsible forimplementing structured application governance, ensuring lifecycle management, and minimizing redundancy while maintaining flexibility. By managing a diverse range of applications — including ERP, SaaS, and in-house solutions —you’ll ensure cost-effective decision-making in collaboration with procurement and finance.

Leading a team of application owners and engineers, you will balance excellent structured governance with agility. As a strong business partner, you’ll engage with IT teams in every region to drive efficiency and innovation, ensuring IT applications proactivelysupport business growth.Additionally, you will evaluateemerging technologies with a view to enhancing operational effectiveness and achieving delaware’s strategic objectives.

Success in this position will depend on yourability to balance governance with businessflexibility, foster collaboration between IT and business-led teams, and strengthen trust so that IT is always seen as a valued business partner. Key priorities will be to develop the application owner community and ensure IT enables growthrather than adding complexity.

Is there a match?

Let’s see: if you have . . .

• 10–15 years of experience in application management, IT leadership, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in application architecture, covering custom-built (.NET), ERP (SAP S/4 HANA, SuccessFactors), SaaS, and integration platforms (SAP CPI, SAP BTP).
• A proven ability to manage teams and align diverse IT stakeholders in a global, multi-entity environment.
• A deep understanding of internal IT vs. business-ledIT dynamics, fostering collaboration over rigid enforcement.
• Business acumen in professional services, with the ability to translate needs into impactful application roadmaps.
• A hands-on, pragmatic approach — strategic in vision but action-oriented when necessary.
• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to alignstakeholders and drive change without relying on authority.
