The Head of Projects / data, manages the entire project management and data department. This role involves strategic oversight of all projects and programs (including data), ensuring they align with the company’s goals, and developing the capabilities and processes of the project management office (PMO) while ensuring IT solutions meet business needs.

Main Responsabilities

  • Department Leadership: Lead and develop the project management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Roadmap Management: Oversee the Newpharma project Roadmap to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage and optimize the allocation of resources across projects and programs.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of projects and programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, department heads (including Newpharma development senior management), and external partners.
  • Product Strategy: Ensure alignment of product vision and strategy with business goals, guiding product owners and business analysts.
  • Business Analysis: Lead efforts to gather and analyze business requirements across the organization, ensuring they are accurately translated into functional specifications.
  • Process development and standardization: Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies and best practices, incorporating Scrum and Agile principles.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio.
  • Budget Oversight: Oversee the budget for the project management department, ensuring financial discipline and accountability.
  • Training and Development: Promote the professional development of project managers and program managers through training, mentoring, and support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and communication: Ensure regular status updates and performance reports to senior management

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and programs.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Scrum and Agile principles.Excellent leadership and team development skills.Superior strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
