Job Overview and Responsibilities

Located in our office in Brussels, the procurement team is responsible for the whole European logistics. You will join a team of 8 people, with each their own specialities. As an intern, you will get the chance to learn operational procurement tasks by supporting the category buyers in different domains (in this case: warehousing, rail car rental, rail, on site logistics, pre carriage) or road.
The missions consist of analytical tasks, data crunching and also after initial pick up of tasks contact with our internal clients (business side) or even suppliers side in case of specific elements.

Education and Experience

  • Currently studying for a bachelor/master degree in economics or procurement at University or in a Business School
  • A previous experience (internship) in procurement would be ideal

Skills

  • English is the working language, any additional language (French, Dutch, German, Italian) is nice to have
  • You have sound business logic and good mathematical skills, problem solving
  • IT savvy (Excel, G-sheets, analytics) with knowledge of SAP
  • You are a strong teamplayer, with a hands on mentality and eager to succeed

Additional Information

The internship is to start as soon as possible for a duration between 6 to 12 months. Located in Brussels, Belgium.
