Your Profile:
To be successful in this position, you:
  • Either have, or are stuying for a university degree in business, purchasing or engineering
  • Have a business understanding and affinity with automotive products
  • Are results driven and able to break down complex issues into manageable portions
  • Have good communication, presentation and teamwork skills
  • Are computer literate (MS applications)
  • Are fluent in English

Your team and your responsibilities:
Accessory Purchasing Team
Part of the overall European Purchasing team of nearly 200 people, the Accessory group is focused on serving our aftersales group with Purchasing activities related to Accessories and service parts fitted to all Toyota vehicles sold in Europe (both local made and imported).
The Accessory and Aftersales environment means our small team faces dynamic requests and the sourcing and development of accessory products. These are both wide in scope from standard parts for vehicle serving to bespoke developments of accessory items to enhance our vehicle sales and meet the customer growing expectation of being able to customise their vehicle purchase.
As an intern in our group, we will be looking for you to integrate quickly, and help us continue the development of systems and procedures to strengthen our overall Purchasing activity and delivery.

As intern you will be expected to :
  • Untake a number of projects to support the group
(Examples : systems or procedure development, data organization, support communication with suppliers)
  • Support buyers, engineers and admin with actual key Purchasing activities, Sourcing, pricing, negotiation
  • Communicate with related internal and external supplier contacts via various means (TEAMS,Mail,Microsoft applications Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc)

  • Use of your skills to contribute to real business activity and gain appreciartion for Toyota business approach

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
