Job Description
The Junior Project Controller will be responsible for the following activities related to Real Estate owned by Eurofins Legal Entities and/or leased from 3rd parties :
Objectives:
- Project Management (Support Operating entities in establishing their building projects)
- Real Estate Projects follow-up
- Advice and support on planning and approval process
- Follow-up and report on building project progress
- Frequent project meetings with local Managing Directors and Project Managers
- Maintenance and analysis of the Real Estate Project List
- Update of approved documentation in internal databases
- Support and preparation for signature of official documents
- Group Sites databases maintenance, follow-up and communication with stakeholders
- Real estate databases and reporting tools management, from development of new tools to regular maintenance;
- Continuous management of the information: from the creation of new Sites to the update of existing Sites information (lease agreement contractual terms, financial information, administrative information);
- Responsible for the accuracy of the data;
- Holding of the Monthly GSC RE calls
- Support on creation Group Documents describing the processes
- Help populate a new database with existing & accurate data
- Continuous process improvements
- Building costs analysis and controlling
- Preparation, maintenance and analysis of the quarterly published real estate reports
- Controlling of real estate expenses (mainly related to rental agreements and building costs)
- Help preparing the IFRS 16 implementation (with support of Group Accounting Team)
- Update the real estate assets follow-up schedule on a monthly basis;
- Be involved in the budgeting/forecasting process of the companies of the Group;
- Checking the correct applications of agreed terms and conditions (rental agreements and loans)
Qualifications
Personal skills:
- Advanced Excel;
- Knowledge of Access database, VBA or Business Intelligence tools is an asset;
- Very accurate, highly reliable and detail-oriented;
- Ability to work in an autonomous manner in a fast-changing organization;
- Pragmatic, proactive, flexible and adaptable;
- Process oriented;
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- Team player enjoying working in a small team.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business from Top University
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Any additional European language is an asset
Previous experience:
- Experience in project management and/or real estate is a plus.
