Details about the client: Our client, located in Belgium, is a global asset management company. Established 30 years ago, this company has now offices all around the world. They are currently looking for a Legal Consultant to strengthen their team in Brussels.

Description


Your responsibilities - Legal Consultant:

  • You need to be updated with all the laws, regulations and market practices of the countries in which the company is present;
  • You will analyse the impact of legal and regulatory changes on the marketing of the company’s funds and investment services, as well as informing all other departments involved;
  • You will draft, negotiate and monitor distribution and intermediation contracts, discretionary asset management and investment advisory contracts along with other related agreements
  • You will support other departments in all legal matters related to the marketing activities on media
  • You will help the external legal firms monitor the legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to the marketing of funds and investment services in all countries in which the company has an office or a subsidiary.

40000 - 50000 per year
Profiles


Your profile - Legal Consultant:

  • You are a Law graduate
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience (preferably in finance or asset management)
  • You speak Dutch. English and French are a plus
