• 
  Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic engineering
• Fluent in English
• Work independently (Works also good in team )
• Team player – Can function very well in a team (good communication with other team members)
• At least 10 to 15 years of experience as a mechanical / mechatronic designer
• Experience with machine design and concept design
• Be able to work smoothly with CAD package

Werken op freelance basis is ook mogelijk !

As Mechanical R&D Designer you are responsible for the development of new innovative machine designs to stay ahead of our competitors. You make a creative contribution to our R&D department and convert ideas into industrial solutions that optimal match with the technologies such as (Servo technology, industrie 4.0, digital twin machine, intelligent machine controls, ....). You are a team member of the Mechanical R&D Department who is responsible for the new innovation project, from concept design up to test construction and ready to market.

• You Deliver a creative contribution to the development of our new machines and sub systems
• You are involved in the drafting the requirements, and responsible for partial machine design and integration of the sub design into the machine
• You ensure the required functionality of the machine Design with attention to following things: Reliability, sustainability, manufacturability, Cost price, Maintenance, safety, …
• You are responsible for the concept design, concept selection process and concept testing set-up
• You design in a 3D CAD packet
• You deliver a documentation packages (Construction file) in which all the engineering aspects are incorporated and the transfer of knowledge in the organization is guaranteed.
