About SBE

SBE started over 30 years ago as a small, family-like engineering design consultancy. In the meantime, we can no longer count the number of employees on both hands. Already more than 180 enthusiastic engineers and designers are working from our four offices in Europe. We focus on 5 core activities: port, river & hydraulic engineering, civil engineering & infrastructure, urbanism & design, industrial constructions & buildings and electromechanics.

Responsibilities

A fitting story for every target group! To make this happen, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist who wants to be a part of our innovative marketing and communication activities. In this role, you are the link between SBE and its stakeholders. You know how to use your marketing skills to promote our services to customers ánd potential employees.

You will be based at our headquarters in Sint-Niklaas, working in a small and enthusiastic team of 2 M&C colleagues.

Your main responsibilities include:

• You are co-responsible for creating, reviewing and updating the M&C policy;
• You will take our strategic marketing and communication plan to the next level;
• You coordinate our internal company events and external marketing activities (such as competitions, fairs, lectures, etc.);
• You create support for the M&C actions and advise our colleagues in implementing the M&C policy;
• You analyze the results of our campaigns and figure out how to make them even more stronger;

About you

Here are some elements that can make you stand out:

Professional experience: You can count on several years of experience in a marketing role in the service sector.

Education: You have a relevant degree (such as Business Management, Communication Sciences, (Digital) Marketing, …)

Skills and background:

• You are proactive and independent; you can be sure, you will be allowed to realize your innovative ideas. As a creative jack-of-all-trades, you are not afraid to work on technical projects with colleagues from different departments.
• You know better than anyone how to set priorities in your diverse range of tasks.
• You have gained a first experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, …
• You love to make new contacts with relevant external parties. Networking is your middle name.
• You are a visual storyteller; you create suitable stories starting form our mission, vision and values.
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. A good level of French is also on our wish list.
• Plus: Knowledge of Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).
• Plus: Knowledge of digital marketing strategies for Social Media & Content.
