Job Purpose and Impact

For our Cargill Beauty team and as part of our growth strategy, we are looking for our future New Ingredients Technical Business Development Manager who will responsible for translating the program objectives to a technology road map based on their overview of the research and development portfolio and capability to handle, control and balance them.

In this role, you will ensure that program objectives are achieved, market and technology opportunities are understood and prioritized, and customer and innovation needs are efficiently and effectively met.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that enable the program strategy and appropriately position emerging technologies.
  • Define the portfolio’s program targets, ensuring effective collaboration with our teams across the program team.
  • Handle technology roadmap and research and development portfolio accordingly, evaluating and prioritizing projects and reallocating resources across projects.
  • Execute our innovation portfolio choices to ensure program objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the globe to ensure effective and efficient use of the portfolio’s human and financial resources to deliver high quality research work and broader program targets.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of eight years of work experience in relevant segments or categories
  • Demonstrated expertise in Skin Care, Skin cleansing, Hair care and or other personal care applications
  • Specific expertise into Skin ingredients / applications is a plus
  • Knowledge into the ingredient technologies relevant for Personal care applications, home care could be a plus
  • Proven portfolio management experience, including gate review team or portfolio review team participation
  • Experience working in a multinational, multicultural, matrixed organization
