WHO YOU ARE

Important for this position:

  • Knowledge of how to implement long term plans, according to set budgets and goals
  • Knowledge of how to plan, attract, grow, deploy, reward and support co-workers & leaders and their careers in IKEA
  • Knowledge of how to systematically create, capture, share, manage and utilise knowledge within IKEA and between coworkers

  • Knowledge of how to use IKEA standards and manuals to follow rules, comply to standards and provide direction
  • Knowledge of creating, following and maintaining guiding framework documents with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of how to keep updated on development of standards
  • Demonstrates general leadership ability and effectiveness in leading a specialist team with the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces and tasks
  • Applies business knowledge and leverage (digital) best practices to achieve organisational goals and objectives
  • Develops virtual and other collaborative relationships to facilitate current and future objectives.
  • Takes action without needing direction from others – ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility but also a teamplayer

  • Knowledge of different leadership styles and needs as well as appropriate use for different situations

  • You have a passion for working with and through people every single day, being a motivator, a driver of a large team (20)
  • You have a proven training in People Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within administration Minimum 1 year of experience as a People Manager Experience in using digital tools to optimise efficiency Experience from global matrix organisation
  • Preferred: Cross-functional understanding of INGKA/IKEA Matrix and operations

The People & Culture Service Delivery Manager will:

  • Leads, coordinates and develops a large, focused team of Specialists and Administrators ensuring that the team works effectively and collaboratively to ensure agreed service levels and quality
  • Be responsible for execution of all People & Culture administrative tasks in line with Service Level agreements
  • Connects with all unit P&C managers to monitor and evaluate the services delivered.
  • Be responsible for securing standardization and alignment within People Administration across the different entities at IKEA in Belgium
  • Work in close collaboration with the P&C Delivery Manager to identify process improvement areas and opportunities for optimizing, automating and digitalizing processes as well as migration of tasks to Shared Service Centre, other suppliers and the many co-workers
  • Secures all stakeholders in the PA/PY processes know and perform their role(s)
  • Work together with the P&C Delivery Manager and the People Planning Manager to secure that the process of timekeeping will be automated limiting the manual work to corrections based on alarm-lists.
  • Contribute to a high standard of excellence within People Administration including identifying and acting on opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Leverage digital solutions and tools for efficient administration
  • Ensure the relevance of, and develops People administrative processes in a constantly evolving global retail landscape
  • Work together with the Total Rewards managers to secure that all elements of the total rewards package are taken care of in the most efficient and easy to understand way for the many co-workers
  • Secure clear and timely communication to the many co-worker so as to avoid a preventable influx of questions related to specific actions. (eg: holiday-pay, holiday-counters, year-end-premium, One IKEA Bonus, TACK!,…)
