The Saelens team is looking for a postdoctoral scientist to identify the mode of action of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing nanobody constructs and the potential in vitro virus escape routes.

Profile

We seek a creative postdoctoral scientist with a hands-on attitude and a background in virology, biotechnology, or biochemistry. The candidate should be proficient in molecular biology and (SARS Coronavirus) virology. Being a team player and having effective communication and scientific writing skills are essential for a successful selection.

We offer

Financial support is available for 2 years, but the successful candidate is encouraged to obtain independent funding during this time.

Starting date: as soon as possible.
