Product Manager - Investments

A dynamic and fast-growing company active in the banking sector is currently looking for a Product Manager - Investments to join its Brussels office.

In your new role as Product Manager - Investments, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of compnay’s investments product offerings. Reporting to Senior Product Manager, this role will require you to develop a product vision, collate and prioritise requests and work closely with other internal departments to bring the necessary capabilities to market.

Your main responsibilities as Product Manager - Investments will be :

• Ensure that the selection of Mutual Funds and Exchange Traded Funds is maintained on a regular basis through quantitative and qualitative assessments of the universe
• Contribute to the creation of a new Fund Selection Methodology
• Ensuring good governance of the products in the universe and strict compliance with the compliance framework
• Key point of contact for asset managers: participation in conferences and seminars. Proactively seeking out new solutions on the market that satisfy current and future customer demands
• Contribute to the maintenance of other types of investment products such as bonds and equities
• Report market developments and trends to management and give appropriate advice
• Coordinate monthly feedback reports for discretionary portfolio management clients
• Provide the marketing team with information on investment products for clients
• Assist marketing teams in the creation of educational material for clients
• Provide support and training materials to staff
• In charge of all projects relating to the mutual fund offering
• Set up future projects and services
• Set up and implement future investment services offerings and/or enhance current services (excluding advisory and discretionary services)
• Ad hoc assignments, reports to senior management or requests for information, as necessary

Your profile:

• You have a good knowledge and a keen interest in financial markets, investment products and a willingness to learn
• You have a master’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance or a similar discipline
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills
• You are fluent in English and Dutch or French
• You have at least five years’ Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Business Development and/or Product Development functions. Retail investment sales experience is a plus
• You are familiar with online engagement and digital customer experience
