Description


Context - Data and Innovation at Euroclear:


Euroclear seeks to seize opportunities created by the harnessing of Data and new technologies to develop product and services addressing market inefficiencies and strengthen our market infrastructure role.


Euroclear manages vast amounts of financial transaction and position data that could help increase transparency and liquidity in the markets. Euroclear aims to develop client offerings around reference data, liquidity enhancing products and risk indicators.


Your role & responsibilities:


As ‘Product Solutions Sales in Data’, in the Commercial division, your principal focus will be on generating revenue growth for Euroclear in Data Services domains;


  • Drive the division towards its sales targets, including sales planning, defining sales channels and customer segmentation
  • Support Sales and Relationship Managers (SRMs) in discovering and accelerating their client leads
  • Provide support and expertise on more complex sales files
  • Support SRMs and their clients in the successful onboarding of their new data clients/contracts
  • Provide training for new products or features
  • Create and maintain ‘data relationships’ with key clients to protect existing business
  • Maintain and present sales data/metrics

You will also act as a bridge between Product Management and the Commercial division by providing and relaying product, client and market expertise back internally;


  • Maintain coordination with integral organization functions
  • Gather and relay market and competitive insight in the given products/markets, by;
    • Attending relevant industry forums and maintain interaction with relevant market constituencies
    • Developing strong client relationships over time that provides significant input to planning organization products, price and service strategies

This role is client facing, will involve business travel, and as the pipeline of new products continues to increase, your own portfolio of products may broaden over time.

  • Excellent spoken and written English, other languages is a plus
  • Good presentation skills (may include public speaking)
  • Good interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiating

Expertise

  • Direct sales experience or demonstrable transferable skillset
  • Understanding of securities/capital markets (trade and or post trade)
  • A good comprehension of new technologies namely Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, API, Cloud and Digitalisation
  • Prior experience or knowledge in Reference or Liquidity data products is an asset

General understand/interest in emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), cloud, artificial intelligence and API is a plus
