One of the international players in the engineering sector and based in Leuven is looking to hire a Project Controls Analyst who will provide support to the project management of the projects and proposals.

Your main tasks as Project Controls Analyst:

  • Updating and analyzing project related reports
  • To guarantee a correct set up of the projects in our ERP system
  • Create project schedules during proposals and execution
  • Support the evaluation of the projects based on key performance metrics
  • Identify, develop, pursue, and implement operational and work process improvements for the Project Controls department and other areas of our project business.
  • Help develop and maintain an overall project controls mind-set by generating relevant reports and planning & control tools
  • To guarantee a correct actual status reflection of our ongoing projects by assuring timely and correct bookings of specific project related costs
  • To assure correct application of the compliance related procedures
  • To support the financial analysis of the actual status of our project business
  • To support the project forecasting process
  • Support on the further development of our ERP (SAP) system to allow an efficient and accurate administration of our projects
  • Further development of Tools and Reports
  • Assist in fulfilling project related internal & external audit requests

Profile:

  • Master degree in economics
  • At least 2 - 6 years’ experience in a similar role (finance, controlling, FP&A or operations)
  • Excellent knowledge of Ms office (Excel), Power Pivot and other database experience is an advantage
  • ERP/ SAP knowledge is an asset
  • You have no problem with occasionally travelling abroad
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Teamplayer
  • Good communication in English and any other language is an advantage
  • Willing to learn the specifics of the company and how to retrieve and work with data
