You will take responsibility of a selection of our research projects. Working hard to explore the depths of alkali activated materials and aiding us in bringing these technologies to market. You will do some lifting, get dirty in the lab, but will also travel and speak in front of top experts in the field. We can promise you that as a member of this compact start-up you will have a challenging and varied function, but most of all you will create an ever growing love for concrete.

The mix of work will involve:

• Ownership on research experiments and deadlines
• Project management
• Analysis and interpretation of results and reporting
• Raw materials analysis: chemistry and mineralogy
• Hands-on lab work with cement, sand and concrete
• Binder testing and measurement of physical properties
• Strength and durability testing
• Reviewing technical and scientific literature
• Design of home-made experimental set-ups
• New product/materials development
• Field implementation

The profile we’re looking for:

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience

• Knowledge of building materials or physical chemistry
• Master in a relevant subject

Desirable:

• Degree in Materials Science, Geology or Chemistry
• Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of cementitious materials
• Knowledge of Alkali Activated Materials
• Experience in laboratory environment

Skills

• Presentation and public speaking skills in English
• Team player and team builder
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication in English
• Scientific writing
• Self-motivating

Desirable:

ResourceFull is a growing Start-up with expertise in the valorisation of metallurgical and mining by-products in building applications. We found use for these by-products by transforming them into minerals suitable for the production of the next generation of concrete. By offering a cement alternative based on the use of secondary resources, we eliminate the dependency on primary raw materials and offer a far more ecological alternative to the construction industry.
