We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Business Partner to join our growing Recruitment Team.
As a Recruitment Business Partner (RBP) you will have the opportunity to facilitate organizational growth, where the focus will be on expanding our presence with key European institutions in Belgium (BE), France (FR) and Luxembourg (LUX).
The key individual will report to the Recruitment Director and work in close collaboration with members of the Recruitment Team.
You are expected to collaborate with the business leaders in the various countries, understanding their talent needs and delivery requirements.
The Recruitment Team is located across Europe covering over 400 vacancies per year in 11 different countries, within the space and security engineering sectors.
Tasks and Activities
The scope of work will include:
- Taking responsibility and being the recruitment lead for clients in the specific regions (BE, FR and LUX) ensuring that the overall recruitment KPIs and SLAs are met.
- Acting as a dedicated business partner towards the business unit manager(s), managing their expectations and working together to achieve the targets and budgets that have been set.
- Being involved in all present and future activities of the specific account, ensuring the following:
- Performance - Using the adequate recruitment resources available to work on open positions and active business opportunities whilst pushing for success.
- Progress with the account - Looking at specific recruitment strategies, marketing campaigns and any other necessary activities to ensure the growth of the account.
- Planning and preparation for the future – Planning together with the business manager(s), anticipating future workload and strategies business opportunities.
- Working with a pool of Recruiters and Resources, managing their workload and ensuring they perform and deliver on their assigned positions.
- Finding solutions for problems or issues that may rise in the region from a recruitment perspective.
- Working together with the Recruitment Director and other stakeholders within the company to implement and improve the recruitment process where needed.
- Travelling to the regions (BE, FR and LUX) in order to meet with the Regional Business Unit Managers as well as with customers and/or employees to improve the contact, understand the local business needs and acquire a better understanding of the client’s needs.
- Taking the lead for large bid processes from the moment the opportunity is identified as a likely bid.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in recruitment, with mandatory experience both in agency and corporate recruitment.
- Experience working in a recruitment agency or executive search firms in a commercial, client facing-role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar working with Recruitment Software/CRM.
- Able to take enjoyment in, and be excited by, recruitment success whilst also being able to persevere through challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to manage relations and influence our clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation skills and well experienced in active sourcing, including being an experienced user of LinkedIn Recruiter.
- A proven track record in closing candidates.
- Able to multitask, thrilled by the challenge of working multiple positions at the same time.
- Confident when engaging with clients, with a strong business acumen.
- Able to work well in a team and engage with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- A high energy mindset with a strong drive for success.
- Extroverted and sociable, with a passion for people.
- A natural curiosity and able to use self-initiative when seeking results.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The following skills would be highly desirable:
- Good working knowledge of French, both written and spoken
- Experience within Aerospace or Security recruitment
