Who you are

As a Sales & Service Manager you will drive Remote Sales & Services in the country, by executing and maximizing business performance. You will be responsible for the Sales and Customer goals via a highly engaged team, creating the best experience for remote customers and co-workers. Next to that, you will lead and manage the operational sales & services team within the country in alignment with the group sales counterpart.

Other responsibilities you will secure are:

- Being accountable for executing and adapting the sales & service strategy to local prerequisites and drive country Sales in order to maximize growth and create an excellent customer experience.

- Accountable for achieving country business goals thus meeting set business outcomes

- Ensure a seamless customer journey by offering the best customer experience with great quality for all remote contacts.

- Identify new and additional remote sales opportunities in order to increase growth

- Participate and provide input to the Customer Support Center (CSC) Management Team, with a continuous focus on driving the best customer and co-worker experience across all areas of the CSC. Securing sales perspectives are taken into account.

- Lead, coach and develop the country sales & services team, promoting individual growth and securing a high performing team of passionate experts.

- Contribute with input to Demand & Capacity and Planning, Scheduling & Intraday team in order to optimize team productivity and effectiveness.

- Build and manage close relations to selling team within Commercial in order to capture state of the art selling knowledge and techniques.

- Responsible for maintaining close cooperation with the Group Sales team, providing input and feedback in order to maximize continuous improvement in the Sales area.

The Service & Sales Support Manager we are looking for has:

- A good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people.

- Good knowledge of new technology and how to harness this to drive incremental sales or value growth.

- Strong knowledge of selling services in a remote environment, both reactive and proactive, with knowledge of the selling area within retail and major industries.

- Strong knowledge of digital and remote selling techniques and drivers.

- General knowledge of the contact centre industry and in particular the selling function within globally steered organizations.

- Broad knowledge of sales mechanisms and the pulse of the market (customers, competition, news).

- Motivated by sharing and living the IKEA culture and values.

- Passionate about understanding the behaviors of the many people, the local Life at Home and current Home Furnishing trends.

- Energized by driving business growth and contributing to overall success of IKEA through collaboration.

- Appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning commercial activities into practice.

- Passion for leading others and energized by developing and challenging people to reach goals.
