Within a Novalix insourcing team based in a pharmaceutical company, under the supervision of a project manager, your mission will mainly consist in:

  • Conducting multi-step syntheses (up to multigram scale) to deliver new chemical entities for pharmaceutical research programs.
  • Carrying out the purification and characterization (LC-MS, NMR) of the molecules obtained.
  • Ensuring that the batches delivered meet the quantities, purities and deadlines required for the project’s needs.
  • Writing experimental procedures.
  • Reporting your work to your management and the client.

Your projects can involve both the reproduction and optimization of already established reactions as well as the setting up of novel procedures leading to innovative molecules for therapeutic ends.

Profile

You should have a master’s degree in organic chemistry with relevant experience in synthesis. We are seeking a person who is passionate about science and who has a keen sense of responsibility as well as being a committed team player. The candidate will have a rigorous and organized attitude to work with excellent reporting skills.
