Job Description

Join the onsemi design team, find many interesting challenges in the fascinating world of microelectronics, and help us to exceed the expectations of our customers.

The projects run in the design center are oriented to a mixture of applications: battery management, industrial communication busses (like KNX, PoE…) and electrical safety. The projects are executed in close collaboration with leading customers in the industrial space, using high voltage low power mixed-signal technologies.

As senior analog designer you will be part of a multi-functional product development team, consisting of analog, digital and layout designers. You will cooperate closely with the marketing/application team or with the customer; you estimate the amount of work and report the technical progress and status of your activities both internal and to the customer. You ensure that the technical requirements are met and that the design flow is followed. You will work at the design of analog cells and at the top level integration and mixed mode verification, lead the IC characterization and support the validation by the test engineer and by the customer or application engineer. Throughout the project, you will work closely together with colleagues from production, design, test, application and quality engineering departments as well as with marketing and customer to produce high quality solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Master degree in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years experience in (CMOS/BiCMOS/BCD) analog design (operational amplifiers, AD and DA converters, PLL…)
  • High Voltage (40V+) analog IC design experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of standard CAD tools and analog design methodology is an asset
  • Strong motivation for technical challenges and new subjects, creative and problem solving oriented
  • Team player that is able to work independently and to interface effectively with team members and customers ; fluency in English is a must given the multi-cultural nature of the team and the international character of our company.
