Within the Vilvoorde engineering and production site of HTS we are looking for a Senior PLC Automation Engineer.

Tasks

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible and be the main point of contact for all the functional automation aspects of our projects involving gas burner systems and other sustainable thermal solutions, together with deep involvement in our IoT cloud-based solutions and the integration of our systems towards industry will be involved from sales proposal stage to the final commissioning stage. A thorough training in our sustainable thermal solutions will be provided to get the best start possible in this exciting position.The senior PLC Automation engineer will be part of the EMEA electrical team reporting to the EMEA Electrical Engineering manager.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Detailed Functional engineering of our sustainable thermal solutions. Assuring proper functionality and safety in our burner systems,
  • Coordinate with the Global Engineering team located in India & China for completion of detailed engineering & design work.
  • Review customer specifications to develop the right technical solution,
  • Perform safety analyses and make sure our system is designed according to the applicable regulations (Machinery directive, EN 746-2, NFPA 86, EN60204,…),
  • Programming PLC software, (Honeywell, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Pilz,…)
  • Implement and cooperate in improving our IoT solutions and data capture solutions.
  • Define and assist in ordering the required system’s material on time,
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and external suppliers and solve issues that arise during manufacturing,
  • Lead / coordinate the FAT with the ISC/ customers.
