Job Description

At Medicim, Envista’s global center of Software Development, located in Mechelen, we investigate, develop, maintain and support innovative software solutions for clinicians and dental technicians. Our solutions create intuitive workflows for image acquisition, diagnostics, treatment planning, prosthetic CAD/CAM and dental team collaboration in order to treat patients better. DTX Studio™ is our flagship software suite.

The job as C++ software developers entails:

• Working as a SCRUM team member in software projects. Depending on the project a large variety of tasks may be involved: extending general functionality, new 2D or 3D visualizations or implementing a defined image processing or AI algorithm.
• Technical design and implementation of our front-end applications. This includeswriting source code, performing code review, writing unit tests and executing them.
• Monitor and control code quality. This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit testing, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines.
• Detect, treat and solve issues.
• Assist in third-level support cases and support with software testing.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in developing high-quality software solutions within an existing larger framework.
• Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (e.g., C++, QT, QML).
• Knowledge of 3D rendering (e.g., OpenGL, Vulkan) is an asset.
