Job Description:

Task overview:

The candidate will design, develop, and maintain interactive Spotfire dashboards to support data analysis and visualization needs within the R&D Discovery function.
The Candidate will collaborate with discovery scientists and data teams to gather requirements and transform complex experimental data into intuitive, insightful visualizations.
The candidate will integrate Spotfire with R&D-specific data sources such as compound libraries, assay results, and bioinformatics datasets.
The Candidate will optimize performance and ensure data integrity and consistency in dashboards, adhering to scientific data standards and internal compliance requirements.
The candidate will provide training, documentation, and user support to enable scientists and researchers to effectively utilize Spotfire in their discovery workflows.

Candidate must have:

4+ years of experience as a Spotfire developer, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
Proven expertise in creating complex, interactive dashboards using Spotfire, including custom expressions, data functions, and Iron Python scripting.
Experience connecting Spotfire to diverse data sources (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, …), and transforming raw data into analysis-ready formats.
Ability to work closely with discovery scientists and cross-functional teams to translate scientific needs into analytical solutions.
Able to work in a global team
Experience in working with productivity tools like JIRA / XRAY / Confluence
Impeccable professional proficiency in English.
Willing to come on-site in Beerse 2 days/week.

Nice to have:

Prior exposure to Client Innovative Medicine R&D
Degree in any pharmaceutical/life sciences field
Relevant certification related to technological stack (Spotfire, Snowflake, DBT, AWS, …)
