Hobson Prior is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Consultant for a contract role based in Mechelen . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate forecasting tool, analyzing material consumption patterns, overseeing the order management process, and managing vendor relationships. This role also involves maintaining master data parameters and actively participating in the improvements of the SAP system.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a tool for predicting future needs based on past data, trends, and input from stakeholders.
  • Work with different teams to gather information related to demand.
  • Analyze patterns of material use based on past data, production plans, and demand predictions.
  • Identify potential issues in the supply chain and develop strategies to address them.
  • Oversee the process of placing and fulfilling orders.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Maintain data related to demand planning and forecasting.
  • Participate in improving the SAP system, particularly in demand planning and forecasting modules.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree with experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences sector is a plus.
  • Strong skills in demand planning and forecasting.
  • Experience with SAP, particularly in demand planning and forecasting modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
