We are seeking a Belgium based in-house recruiterto manage end to end recruitment projects for our Industrial and Healthcare Business unit across Europe alongside generalist and specialist HR and Talent Acquisition Team. You will act as the primary interface for hiring managers and candidates and take the lead on the entire recruitment process from sign off through to on-boarding. Your role will ultimately be to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of quality recruitment solutions for key business openings.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Talent & Vendor Operations EMEA
Location: Turnhout, Belgium

Key responsibilities:

  • Gain thorough knowledge of our Industrial and Healthcarebusiness and operations in Europe and Globally. Develop a deep understanding of each internal client’s business, requirements, and opportunities.
  • Engage with and manage relationships with hiring managers, employees, HR Colleagues, HR Business Partners, and external candidates in a professional manner.
  • Consult with HR business partners and internal clients across all functions to provide insight into the recruitment market. Focusing on cost, time, and quality of hire, help to shape the right hiring strategy for each individual recruitment project.
  • Source candidates in creative, cost effective ways (e.g social networking, research and market mapping, employee referrals, advertising, and recruitment agencies)
  • Proactively build candidate talent pools in key functional/regional areas and manage relationships with potential candidates to pipeline for future recruitment opportunities.
  • Manage external agency recruiters to ensure seamless service delivery on recruitment searches conducted by 3rd party recruiters for internal clients.
  • Ensure that Avery Dennison recruitment system(SmartRecruiters), processes and policies are applied for all hires. Ensure consistent assessment and selection of candidates.
  • Project management and or active participation in regional and global Talent Acquisition projects such as Workforce Planning, Campus Hiring, Employee Referral programs etc.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Avery Dennison Industrial and Healthcare Businessthroughout Europe. Communicate our business and our offering flawlessly and ensure a first class hiring experience for hiring managers, candidates and third party recruitment suppliers.
  • Engage with HR business partners and Hiring Managers to ensure a great onboarding experience.

Qualifications

  • Recruitment experience across multiple industry sectors, ie: Sales, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations within Europe, preferably within a multinational organization.
  • Proven ability to impact recruitment metrics within an agency or in-house environment (time to hire, cost, diversity of source mix, candidate and client satisfaction).
  • Extensive knowledge in the utilization of social media, research and market mapping.
  • Ability to engage with and manage relationships with hiring managers, employees and external candidates in a professional manner.
  • Sound ability to judge professional situations and relationships and adopt a high level of discretion where appropriate.
  • Strong organization, communication, reporting and influencing skills.
  • Uses her/hisinquisitive nature to find new ideas/trends to bring back to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Outgoing,enthusiastic and resilient team player.
  • Explores opportunities and develops contacts.
  • Complete fluency in written and spoken English andDutch is a prerequisite.
