Miraclon, the home of Kodak Flexcel Solutions, is a leading provider of printing products for the global packaging sector. It sells flexographic imaging equipment, printing plates, consumables and related services, which enable graphic customization of a wide variety of packaging materials. Miraclon was previously a division of The Eastman Kodak Company and was purchased by Montagu, Private Equity Investment firm in April 2019.


Position Description:

Miraclon is looking for a General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) to join our head office in Brussels. The GL Accountant plays an essential role within our organization and will be responsible for accounting processes of our global legal entities and assisting in the preparation of our consolidated financial statements. The position is based in Brussels and will report to the Group Accounting Manager.

Further responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior finance management in establishing and maintaining accounting/financial controls and procedures, financial infrastructure, and preparing financial reports in compliance with the company’s reporting requirements and operating procedures.
  • Full responsibility for GL accounting for selected entities of our global organisation
  • Manage the following processes:
    • General ledger accounting
    • Intercompany accounting, including intercompany profit in inventory valuation
    • Monthly closing and consolidation process
    • Fixed asset accounting and depreciation
    • Preparation VAT Tax filings and supporting the Regional Finance Managers and the Director Tax in corporate income tax filings
    • Account reconciliation process
    • Supporting statutory audit/governmental reporting compliance and yearly audit process with external accountant
  • Contribute to various global finance projects


Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field; relevant accounting experience, (minimal 5 years experience).
  • Profound experience in IFRS ideally in a global B2B and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work hands on in a fast paced environment; needs to be able to multi-task with proven follow-through and comfortable with changing priorities and deadlines.
