You will be responsible for improving delivery performance and customer satisfaction by:

  • Implementing and leading the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support our operations and sales regions
  • Identifying and mitigating impact of day-to-day supply chain disruptions and risks

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement an S&OP process for the whole range of products sold in EMEA/APAC regions
  • Coordinate and facilitate demand forecasting process with Sales/Project Management team and ensure accuracy of the demand forecast models
  • Manage the S&OP cycle, incl. pre-S&OP meetings (operations planning) and monthly S&OP meetings (executive decision-making meeting)
  • Support decision making process to launch ordering for key “potential” orders balancing financial risk and rewards in terms of delivery performance and customer satisfaction
  • Set up, implement and monitor clearly defined metrics (KPI’s) to provide comprehensive reports, analytics and visibility around S&OP process performance to all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Continuously review S&OP process to ensure it suits business needs and according best practice
  • Ensure identification, monitoring and reporting of potential supply performance risks and opportunities (material or capacity imbalances, logistics delays, excess inventory, etc.).
  • Assess the global impact of supply chain disruptions and propose solutions (using inventory control, replenishment management, etc.)
  • Set up a mitigation plan together with the involved stakeholders and support its implementation
  • Support life cycle management in the supply chain (e.g. phase in and phase out of products)
  • Establish seamless internal relationships with Sales, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, R&D to build trust, drive efficient and effective collaboration and achieve optimal customer satisfaction and business results

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, including relevant experience in demand management and forecasting, supply planning, purchasing, inventory management
  • Strong English communication skills – written & oral - proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • Supply Chain Management certification is not necessary though strongly preferred
  • Strong people and leadership skills – team player, collaborative leadership, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, coaching
  • Proven track record in influencing and motivating people from diverse backgrounds
  • Good problem-solving skills, drive, energy, and enthusiasm for delivering to commitments and motivated by continual process improvement
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and ERP knowledge (SAP SCM experience is a plus)
  • Strong analytical, organization, decision making and presentation skills to working level as well as management level
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently while also enjoying collaboration with cross-functional teams and other analysts
