We are looking for an experienced and motivated leaderwith a high degree of both IT HCM and HR Business acumen and has the ability to unite both domains. In this role, you are able to adopt a conceptual approach, language and agenda so that both the IT and HR domains can be fully knowledgeable and engaged in projects and activities. As an IT HCM Manager, you are responsible to drive and realize Carmeuse’s IT HCM vision & landscape for the future thanks to your strong organization skills, project management skills, and experience with change management.
You are astrong Team Manager with a genuine interest in people management & development. You have a proven track record in driving team contribution and individual development by an excellent combination of motivating, challenging and supporting the team, as well as keeping the focus on realizing the business goals by clear and open communication including both IT and HR needs and arguments. You actively include and align all stakeholders in the combined IT HCM-HR business and technological goals thanks to your strong communication skills, and a clear system agnostic, process-driven mindset and approach.
As an IT HCM Manager, you are an individual who takes accountability to drive the IT HCM-HR business agenda forward with a passion for both tactical and strategic work, a clear focus for solutions and results, an ability to easily navigate through change & ambiguity, and making real teamwork excel. This position will have full management of functions for the team including: managing internal and external resources for maintenance and support of existing functionality and implementation of new functionality, project management skills, strategic planning with the business for future architecture, and more.
Your responsibilities
- Overall accountability for Human Capital Management system administration across a complex organization of multiple entities and regions.
- Technical Process Lead for all implementations and updates to the systems in the IT HCM landscape.
- Accountable for all HCM modules/processes to ensure a positive people experience including:
- Talent Acquisition
- Onboarding
- Core Employee Master Data
- Payroll
- Talent Performance Management
- Compensation Management
- Workforce Management
- Learning Management
- Travel and Expense Management
- Drive Service Management and improvement with external Managed Services providers and internal stakeholders
- Champion for the full adoption and utilization of all system modules throughout the organization and affiliated entities.
- Drive engagement and use of system.
- Responsible for Project Management and organization of new implementations or continuous improvement projects.
- Drive HR-IT HCM Governance processes (strategic and operational).
Basic Requirements
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (with relevant experience) in business administration, management or related field required.
- Five to ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong business acumen in both HR and IT HCM is required.
- Practical experience working with financial concepts and banking processes, and manufacturing operations is an advantage;
- Excellent proven People and Project Management skills.
- Advanced experience with HCM/HRIS architectures required.
- International working environment experience.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken)
- Open to travel (+/- 20%)
- HCM Systems: Core HR Data, Personnel Administration & Organizational Management, Compensation Management, Payroll, Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning, Leave & Absence Management, Onboarding (Oracle Fusion Cloud Preferred)
- HR Operational (OTBI Preferred) and Strategic Reporting (PowerBI Preferred)
- Time & Attendance Management (UKG Dimensions preferred)
- Travel & Expense Management (Experience with MobileXpense preferred)
- Interface specification development, testing and maintenance
- Automated data migration tools
- Demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen intently and effectively.
- Ability to lead and develop HRIS Resources on a global team
- Ability to negotiate with and manage external AMS (Application Managed Service) providers
- Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with management, colleagues, franchise owners and their staffs.
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
- Ability to oversee projects from beginning to end, including incorporation of new ideas and best practices and evaluation of processes and procedures in order to recommend improvements and changes when appropriate.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and keep strict confidences.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work.
- Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms to operate office equipment.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office products.
