Our Greek Branch is looking for a Head of PMO/Operations to work with our client/s in the Public sector, in Athens and internal corporate functions.

Your mission :
A key goal is to develop solutions and methodologies that allow for the effective and smooth management of activities, provide direction and support to the teams for achieving their objectives and delivering outstanding value to our customers.

What would your role be?

The main domains are Financial, Portfolio/Program/Project, monitoring and reporting, contractual and governance aspects. The main responsibilities include:

Define, plan and apply governance aspects related to corporate financial and operations processes

Define, control and monitor Portfolio/Programs/Projects performance with the aim of maximizing ROI and ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Risk Management at Portfolio, Program and Project level

Act as decision maker on high-risk mitigation initiatives and operations

Be involved in designing suitable strategies and objectives via collaboration and cross-functional alignment

Liaison between operations and key corporate counterparts

Plan, analyze, monitor and report on key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of activities

Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs in the organization, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs

Drive the identification, deployment, use and monitoring of day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiatives

Uphold organizational policies and standards, ensuring relevant regulations and rules are followed and changes promptly identified and assessed

Track compliance with relevant auditing and certification schemas for the organization to ensure best conditions for business growth and continuity

Lead the Projects and Service Managers and define their objectives

Work closely with human resources and talent functions to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

Build and maintain relationships with all peer leads, external partners, customers and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Requisitos

You profile:
10+ years’ experience in a similar role

Experience on running and executing successfully large-scale Programs/Projects

Proved experience in leading Program/project teams and operations

Very good reporting and communication skills

Very good understanding of governance and project methodologies aspects (PMP-ACP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile/Scrum)

Very good understanding of financial aspects while facilitating the reporting to key corporate and other stakeholders

Ability to build and enforce standardized processes across an organization, teams and the broader project management function

Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

Responsible for coaching and mentoring Program/Project Managers on Agile and Lean management practices

Ability to manage and collaborate with third parties (partners, subcontractors, vendors, etc.)

Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and practices
