Role Context:

The ICT Project Leader will contribute to challenging projects critical to the continuity and performance of Infrabel’s core business activities. These projects aim to enhance rail traffic management within port areas and distribute traffic-related information to both internal and external stakeholders. Regular travel to the Port of Antwerp is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Plan and execute projects in compliance with SDLC principles.
    • Manage budget, scope, and risks effectively.
    • Liaise with diverse stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Ensure seamless communication with internal and external partners.
    • Prepare and deliver progress reports to management.
  • Process Adherence:
    • Follow Infrabel procedures throughout project execution.
    • Collaborate closely with Antwerp port authorities.
Requirements:

Technical Skills:

(M = Mandatory):

  • At least 3 years of experience as an ICT Project Leader.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum).
  • Fluency in Dutch and French.
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Leadership and team management.
    • Budget, cost, and risk management.
    • Effective communication and presentation.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes in ports is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving and initiative-taking abilities.
  • Precision and resilience under pressure.
  • Excellent team collaboration and ability to integrate into existing teams.
