IMEx Continuous Improvement (CI) LeadJob DescriptionThe Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) continuous Improvement (CI) Element envisions to “Inspire a best-in-class culture of continuous improvement that empowers colleagues and enables processes to function efficiently and effectively”.The CI Lead will report into the Puurs MSAT/EPP Centre Of Excellence organization which supports a broad portfolio of vaccines, biologicals and small molecules. The main activities are process development and simulations, tech transfer, complex investigations and improvements for both new and commercialized products for different Pfizer PGS sites and CMO’s.Your contribution in this team will help in making our work easier and faster so that we can “Bring breakthrough therapies to patients live”.The CI lead will be responsible for the implementation and the maintenance of the IMEx Continuous Improvement (CI) Element.As Operational Excellence is also an important strategy of our organization, the CI lead will also be responsible for the development and support of the RFT (Right First Time) and PHP (Pfizer Human Performance) program.Role & Responsibilities- Lead the CI meetings and update the TIER 3/2/1 CI boards: ID new CI opportunities and coordinate project prioritization.
- Provide support and maintain oversight of the various Continuous Improvement (CI) projects within the department.
- Track impact of the CI projects to the CI goals
- Hold Project owners accountable for updates and milestone completion
- Report CI effectiveness metrics
- Assure adherence to the CI Element operating standards
- Optional, not an immediate role:
- Lead complex and cross-departmental investigations ( Green Belt)
- Coach colleagues within the department in the correct application of RFT projects, in order to increase 6sigma capability in the department.
- Lead and coach the team on problem solving and root cause analysis tools.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Science or equivalent through experience.
- Experience in project work.
- Experience with coaching colleagues in a project environment.
- Experience in process standardization and Operational Excellence
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
- Experience in a pharmaceutical / GMP environment is a plus
- Practical experience with lean management and continuous improvement
- Experience in promoting a Right First Time culture in a production environment
- Strong analytical skills, pragmatic, autonomous
- Strong communicator with strong social skills (committed, motivating, listening, open mind,..) both with workers, employees and executives
- Strong coaching and interpersonal skills
- Some experience in managing and implementing solutions with RFT methodology
