The communication department is working across the 3 entities within TUI Western Region: the Airline, TO and Retail network. This role links into the internal communications team specifically supporting the Airline function for Belgium, Netherlands, France and Morocco reporting directly to the Head of Internal Communications TUI fly Western Region.

As Internal Communications Officer you will have a variety of tasks, all supporting a clear and engaging communication towards our different employee groups. For this challenge we are looking for a strong and enthusiastic person taking initiative and able to work independently and creatively.

How you can make an impact?

• There are many ways for you to get involved:
• You are in charge of communicating the latest news and interesting and/or important events in an inspiring way to our Airline colleagues
• You gather all relevant information from the different stakeholders in a highly operational environment, and know how to transform it into appealing news items, for instance for smile or for the weekly newsletter “News Update”
• You create and publish (digital) content for internal use. One of your main tasks is to take the lead in preparing, drafting and sending out the News Update
• You create and/or coordinate the making of visual material (video - photo) on a regular basis for internal communication purposes
• You assist in taking care of business communication
• You provide administrative support
• You cooperate closely with the entire communication team, including the external communication team
• You work partly consists of project management. For instance, you will create the end-of-year magazine together with the colleagues of the internal communication departments from the different entities

• Working in the aviation sector and in a constantly changing environment is what makes you tick
• You hold a bachelor’s degree and preferably have relevant work experience
• Knowledge of our Airline is a plus
• You have an eye for detail and have well-developed organisational skills
• You like to take the initiative and are not afraid of proposing new ideas
• Your creativity and your ability to convert content into a story inspires others
• You have perfect (oral and written) communication skills in Dutch and English and like to write
