Roles & Responsibilities

Learning & Development (HR)
During the internship, you’ll have the opportunity to work on multiple L&D initiatives customized to employees in different stages of their career. You will get to know KPMG’s philosophy on talent development, have the chance to bring your own ideas and work on individual projects. You will receive continuous feedback and will experience open communication within the team. You’ll be involved in:
  • Workshops and other initiatives to strengthen and develop key competencies.
  • Evaluation of existing development & training initiatives and contribute in roll-out and evaluation of new programs.
  • Onboarding, employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Following recent trends in HR to align our offering with current and future business needs.
People & Change (Advisory)
Within the People and Change team, we focus on the human capacity in organizations. We help develop HR strategies, programs, and plans to enable the HR function, line management or even top management to attract, develop, motivate, and retain valuable human capital. In addition, we also support the change management aspect in all kinds of customer projects, ranging from major transformations within companies or the implementation of a specific software tool, to a simplified way of working within a team. You’ll be involved in:
  • Assisting current projects for our clients
  • Working out offers
  • Doing market research
  • Your own internship project

Skills & Qualifications

  • You are a final-year Master’s student with a passion for Human Resources.
  • You possess strong conceptual thinking skills and a passion to realize pragmatic solutions.
  • You are a good communicator, client-oriented, proactive, and a real team player.
  • You have thorough analytical skills, a natural drive to incorporate high quality in your work and client deliverables, and you bring a good portion of enthusiasm to work.
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
The exact period will be determined by mutual agreement (min. 3 months).
