Education required: - Are you pursuing an MBA, MA, MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD in Economics, Epidemiology, Business engineering, Finance, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, or other market access related program in an Educational Establishment located in Europe?
Language requirement: At least C2 level French, English (Dutch is a plus)
Other desired Skills and Experience: You can work full-time 40 hours- you are driven to learn about market access, product development and evidence generation to demonstrate the value of our pharmaceutical products to key stakeholders? You are a self-motivated, team-focused individual with effective communication and analytical skills?
You have strategic thinking, organization, and planning skills. You have a good knowledge of Excel. You are Self-driven and pro-active.
Start date: Between January and March 2022
Duration:6 -12 months
Requisite:The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline), the student, and the Educational Establishment.
Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses (travel & accommodation costs) can be reimbursed.

What will you do?
On our internship programme you will receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts combined with early responsibility to help you to develop and progress.
You will gain hands-on exposure to a variety of projects in support of the value proposition for our products.
You will have the opportunity to learn about market access including how we generate evidence to demonstrate the value of our pharmaceutical products to key stakeholders including regulatory agencies, patients, payers, and health technology assessment agencies; ensure patients have access to our products; and maintain the affordability of our product
Your duties might include:
- Projects that will focus in the following areas: Health Economics, Pricing, Patient Reported Outcomes, Market Access Analytics, or Health Policy
- Ensure towards and after launch all prices and price changes are approved and at all time accurately reflected within the different internal systems and communicated towards the relevant internal and external stakeholders in Belgium and Luxembourg where appropriate
- Ensure towards and after launch that all price and reimbursement actions resulting from changes in presentation, unavailability, exemptions, withdrawal, or transfer, etc. are carried out timely and with all concerned stakeholders
- After launch, continuous monitoring of price environment, including price evolution of competitors, impact of saving measures, generic entry, etc. Propose life cycle price adaptation and business case scenarios to ensure sustained and competitive access of the GSK assets
- Prepare accurate and timely declarations (of turnover, prices in other EU countries,) as requested by the RIZIV/INAMI, FPS Economy, etc
- Collaborate on specific projects with cross-functional teams (e.g. opportunity assessment)
- Propose any improvement to increase efficiency of processes and communication
