Production Supervisor (shift)

Job purpose:

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing manual and automatic visual inspection operations within the MPU FVI (Manufacturing Performance Unit Filling & Visual Inspection), for continuous optimization, and coordination of manpower targets, resources and skills.

Work timetables:

  • Week one: from 6 AM to 2 PM (6h-14h)

  • Week two: from 2 PM to 10 PM (14h-22h)

Your responsibilities:

In this role you,

  • Supervise day to day vaccines operations (automatic and manual visual inspection) by respecting our production plan

  • Provide guidance and support to your team through a daily presence on the shop floor linked to the planning and organization of the activities

  • Lead, select, train, evaluate, coach and motivate a team of technicians and operators towards the pursuit of supply excellence and the attainment of Good Manufacturing Practice

  • Ensure optimal staffing levels and competencies are in place and ensure the retention, engagement and development of talent within the organization

  • Ensure the follow up of KPI’s related to Quality, Supply, EHS , Cost and HR in your area, monitor them and guarantee the deployment of the action plan ensures compliance of the operations with cGMP and Authorities requirements and monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with Quality Assurance department - and take corrective actions when necessary

  • Ensure the compliance on EHS topics in his/her area and develop the EHS mindset within your team

  • Are responsible for implementing the Operational Excellence Process in the facility within your area of responsibility

  • Apply the recommended processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures

  • Participate to internal and external audits in your department

  • Provide support to your direct reports with low or medium complexity issues.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor degree level in Bioengineering or Sciences

  • Good leadership and people management skills

  • You set direction, inspire and engage your team

  • You onboard and develop your team members (team of around 25-30 people)

  • Fluency in French is a must, both written and spoken

  • Good command of English both written and spoken (i.e. inspections and audits)

  • Ability to work with MS Office i.e. Excel, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

  • Master’s degree (University degree) in Bioengineering or Sciences

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Pharma company

  • Team player

  • Reliable delivery on day to day tasks (performance)

  • Strong Knowledge of cGMP
