Role summary:
Key role to drive innovation & growth of the UltraSync IoT Cloud solution, Aritech Software / SaaS solutions & Recurring services across the EMEA region by partnering with the sales and marketing teams, cooperating with large customers and service providers, executing technical product roadmaps and working closely with both the Engineering teams as well as outside vendors. Responsible for a key EMEA product portfolio, defining market strategies for new and existing products/services and driving the execution together with the engineering organization.
Key responsibilities:
Cloud Services & IoT applications:
- Gathering market needs, trends to Define Strategy for the UltraSync cloud solution & service offering linked to the Aritech Security solutions for Intrusion, Access & Video. This will focus on Intrusion/access/Video device management & services, alarm reporting, Remote maintenance solutions, Video verification & hosted applications.
- Define the go to market strategy to evolve and grow the UltraSync cloud recurring service model to address and exceed customer expectations with focus on four different revenue streams: installers, distributors, Monitor Stations and End users
- Define & Grow Communication devices to connect physical products to a cloud service
- Define company strategy on Cloud services and drive the development of the solution.
- Define the business model to increase the Recurrent Revenue for services to different routes to market.
Software & SaaS Solutions:
- Drive Strategy for the Aritech Management Software which is both offering incident management & user management as a Software User Interface connecting and integrating the Aritech Intrusion, Access & Video products.
- Drive Strategy to deploy SaaS solution where new Cloud applications will be defined and developed on top of the UltraSync cloud platform, bringing value to end users & service providers.
- Drive strategy and sustaining activities for a Video VMS and extend it with a SaaS application and business model.
- Drive the VOC & execution and focus on further integration
- Sustain & grow the existing device configuration solution.
General:
- Ensure profitable growth, both in the short- as well as in the long-term, by developing strategic product roadmap & plans and by introducing innovative solutions with clear advantage over competitive offerings in a smart way.
- Translate Voice of customer (VOC) and market trends into new product solutions.
- Define Customer Journey, Painpoints, Customer Segments, Price/Value benchmark
- Work closely with the Engineering and Sales Leaders to develop, drive and maintain Multi-Generational-Product-Plans (MGPP) roadmap with defined priorities.
- Assume the role of liaison between sales, customers, marketing, customer service, logistics, engineering, and other supporting departments to prepare for new product introductions and product discontinuation
- Manage your Portfolio in terms of introduction and phase out, supported by clear information and communication during its lifetime while keeping an eye on the profitability.
- Responsible for revenue and margin targets of the assigned product lines
- Act as the expert in representing the company in any business opportunity
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an IoT or Software/SaaS business is an asset
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering, IT or marketing or proven Industry experience equivalent background.
- Must have at least 5 years Product Management or Product Marketing or Business Development experience.
- Global mindset, experience in leading and driving projects internationally.
- Strong presentation skills, convincing style and customer mindset
- Previous experience in the Security industry covering Intrusion, Access and Video solutions is an asset.
- Experience in cyber security is an asset
- Experience in IP network infrastructure, IoT and/or cloud solutions
- Experience in service solutions and recurring revenue business models is an asset
- Understanding webservices and IoT platform’s is an asset
- Experience with agile way of working is an asset
- Experience in developing or marketing service offerings desired
- Able to undertake frequent travel, up to 25%
- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Must be willing to submit background information as part of the selection process.
