We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to fill the role of IT Assets Support Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance, organization, and support of IT assets within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Your impact

As an IT Assets Support Specialist, you make an impact by:

Hardware Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, meetroom equipment and peripherals

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime

• Coordinate with key suppliers for hardware repairs and warranty services
  

Software Support:

• Install and update applications on various IT assets

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and accessories.

• Track and document asset movements, disposals, and additions

Cable Management:

• Organize and manage cabling infrastructure to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace

• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues related to cables and networking equipment
  

Security Compliance:

• Ensure that IT assets comply with security policies and standards

• Implement and maintain security measures for hardware and software, including updates and staging

About you

• No degree or certification is required

• Proven experience in IT Asset Support or a similar role

• Technical proficiency in hardware troubleshooting

• Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS)

• Strong multitasking skills

• Good communication in English and Dutch or French

• Good interpersonal abilities

• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed. Inded, this role may require occasional lifting of heavy equipment and may involve working in various environments and office locations.
