DescriptionAt Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our UniQue Netherlands team!In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.What will you be bringing to the team?
  • You will manage the relationship with external contractors responsible for delivering IT services, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and technical teams, to define service requirements, priorities, and objectives.
  • You will identify areas for improvement in IT service processes, procedures, and workflows and implement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You will monitor and analyze service performance metrics, identify trends, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from established targets.
  • You will conduct regular meetings with external contractors to review performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • You will oversee the incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues, performing root cause analysis, and successful implementation of changes.
  • You will act as the escalation point for major incidents, problems, and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, ensuring their satisfaction with IT services and proactively addressing their needs.
  • You will stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in IT service management, and drive the adoption of relevant improvements and innovations.
RequirementsWhat do you need to succeed in this position?
  • A minimum of Bachelors degree + 15 years of experience in IT, or Masters degree + 11 years experience in IT
  • Strong expertise with using ServiceNow
  • Proven experience in IT service management, preferably in a project-based environment with a focus on internal customer service.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, and experience in implementing and improving IT service processes. ITIL certification is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of applications design.
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies in development, integration, deployment, and operation of Information Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
  • Ability to give technical presentations
  • Good command of the English language
