As a 2nd line IT support engineer you are responsible for technical support in various ways; at the end user’s desk or “remote” by phone/email. You support end users in the field of software or hardware problems with laptops, desktops, smartphones, etc.

Job description

  • Provide field service solutions based on the requirements of the incident (F2F and remote for different locations around Brussels).
  • Purchasing new IT hardware/software
  • Support and management of user account and permissions
  • Collaboration with / and forwarding incidents to 3rd line support
  • Installation of PCs, and LAN-based devices
  • Assist in setting up technical security/security
  • AV and Conference support through software such as Webex, Skype for Business, Zoom, etc.
  • You will work as a "Back-up technician", and work at different locations.
Profiel:
  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation Certification (recommended)
  • Microsoft Operation System / Office Certification(s) is an advantage
  • Advanced MS Office 365 skills
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language. (Knowledge of French is a plus).
  • The ability to troubleshoot hardware problems
  • iOS, Android advanced user
  • Basic Networking Skills
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
