Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance Coordinator (m/f/x)to join a company based in Brussels.

Our client is a marketing agency. You will join the Finance team and report directly to the Finance Director.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as Finance Coordinator includes:
  • Verification & booking of sales invoices ;
  • Verification, booking and payment of purchase invoices ;
  • Booking of bank accounts (CODAs) ;
  • Monitoring of customer payments (Risk Debtor Analysis) and reminders ;
  • Follow-up of suppliers’ balance and reminders to operational staff for missing or incorrect invoices ;
  • Clearing and cleaning of GL accounts, customer and supplier accounts ;
  • Assistance in closing events (verification of accounting files against accounting, cleaning of disbursement accounts,...) ;
  • Creation of analytical codes ;
  • Archiving of accounting files signed by the operational staff and the financial Director ;
  • Filing of all accounting documents (sales invoices, purchase invoices, OD, contracts, etc.) ;
  • Support to internal control ;
  • Belgian VAT declarations ;
  • Assistance in the preparation of documents for foreign VAT returns by the tax advisor ;
  • Assistance with VAT audit ;
  • Assistance with the annual audit ;
  • Effective use of BOB50 accounting tools and MCI360 & ProPilot reporting systems at work, hardware and software.
The requested qualifications for this job as Finance Coordinator include:
  • You are eligible to work in the EU ;
  • You have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar function ;
  • You have a great understanding of GDPR rules and supplier related anti-fraud systems ;
  • You have excellent organisational skills, a great attention to detail and a positive attitude ;
  • You are available to join the team rapidly.
