Assistant Customer Relations

Purpose of the job:

As an Assistant Customer Relations you are the primary contact between the business and its customers (sales offices, dealers, …). You will have to manage orders in SAP, contact the markets, where needed to assure a timely and correct delivery to customers. You will report to the Coordinator Customer Relations, being part of the Sales Department of GC Europe NV.

Main responsibilities:

  • Entering sales orders in our SAP system
  • Ensuring that customers have correct information at all times regarding orders, delivery times and availability of products
  • Contacting the customer to coordinate priorities and timings if necessary
  • Executing the administration of returned goods
  • Releasing customer orders to deliveries
  • Preparing and sending invoices
  • Preparing customs documents
  • Complaint handling (replacement, communication to the customers)
  • Creating & updating masterdata in SAP for deliveries

Requirements:

  • Very good knowledge of English & French & Dutch. Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Distribution in SAP is a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Positive and customer-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
