Your core responsibilities will be :

Support development of the Barley Procurement Strategy in conjunction with the WCE Barley Procurement Manager and Group Barley Procurement Manager
Contribute in achievement of Group minimum budgeted gross margin and optimise purchasing
Maintain and develop relationships with external suppliers
Support development of price risk management strategies and tools
Follow up and share relevant market data internally on grain markets
Liaise with supply chain, quality and technical teams to ensure procured barley meets the quality needed by the organisation and our customers
Support sales team and potential involvement in customer meetings

Minimum of 5 years experience within an Agriculture/Commodities trading environment
Familiar with volatile and fast moving commodities together with associated tracking and management of risks and exposures
Experience with ERP systems (with SAP and/or JDE would be a plus)
You are a team player, display good communication and organizational skills,able to take sound decisions and to multitask
Good language skills : fluent in English and French, Dutch or German is a plus
Degree in Agriculture/ Trading related qualification or any other relevant fields
Being familiar with malting barley market is a plus
