At Moody’s Analytics Know Your Customer (KYC) / Know Your Supplier (KYS), we solve problems that matter. We are a cross-functional team of sales and marketing, technology and product professionals who are all passionate about preventing criminal infiltration of the world’s financial system and bringing transparency to global supply chains by detecting fraud, terrorism, human trafficking, and other criminal threats. Role/Responsibilities

As Business Analyst you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the product life cycle, from feature conception to deployment and customer enablement.
You will be focusing on the Compliance Catalyst platform. Working alongside a senior business analyst, product managers and strategists, customer service and other operational teams, you will be responsible for successfully supporting our clients in their usage of the Compliance Catalyst and will serve as the primary product consultant in matters where the traditional help desk cannot support.
In this role, you will obtain a broad knowledge of the KYC/KYS landscape by assuring that our products and technology are being used effectively to add value to our clients’ businesses. This is an opportunity to develop your career while doing work that matters.

Specifically, you will:

  • Act as an escalation point and ultimate owner for technical and functional product questions raised by stakeholders and customers.
  • Report and follow-up on resolution of critical bugs and errors
  • Capture and document recurring client issues and questions
  • Communicate internally on scheduled and unscheduled release cycles and content
  • Develop excellent working relationships with colleagues within KYC/KYS and especially solutions delivery and solutions specialists
  • Manage and escalate requests appropriately while maintaining ownership of the client interaction and delivery solution.
  • Support roadmap planning activities.
  • Elicit business and technical requirements from stakeholders with appropriate prioritization and dependencies identified.
  • Support user testing, participate in validation sessions.
  • Act as a product lead in relevant Agile activities.
  • Create and manage user acceptance plans.
  • Develop and deliver technical support documentation and training
  • Be supported by other senior business analysts and a product manager

Qualifications

  • 2+years of experience working in a software development environment or work related to KYC
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain new knowledge
  • Experience in software implementation projects
  • Experience doing first-line customer support
  • Be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-experts,
  • Be able to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to guide own learning and contribute to domain knowledge building
