Cacao-Trace Foundation Coordinator

As our Coordinator in Belgium, you will be responsible for managing and distributing the unique Chocolate Bonus in a transparent manner, ensuring a long-term positive impact on farmers’ quality of life. Key Accountabilities

Are you ready to make a global impact? Join us as our Cacao-Trace Coordinator for our foundation and lead the charge in bringing positive change to communities around the world!

• As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing our project selection process, in line with the foundation board’s vision and strategy.
• One of the key aspects of this role is to follow-up on projects in countries, particularly non-cash projects, which will require travel to Africa, Asia, and Latin America - the three cacao sourcing regions of our chocolate.
• Your expertise in coordinating and building robust Standard Operating Procedures will ensure efficient and effective project management, resulting in meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve.
• In addition, you will play a crucial role in partnership building, fundraising, and exploring grant opportunities, as well as collaborating with government and NGO’s.
• Your financial acumen will be put to good use as you lead the financial control of an annual budget representing 4 million euros in 2025.
• You will be the driving force behind coordinating the foundation’s quarterly steercos and managing all legal aspects related to the foundation. Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you report and communicate on the foundation’s actions, including the annual report, Cacao-Trance, and Next Generation Foundation initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

• You have 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a background in finance, legal, or purchasing.
• Passionate about sustainability and driven by creating positive change, you will bring an entrepreneurial mindset and strategic vision to the role.
• Your strong project management skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and cross-functional communication will be key to success.
• As a leader, you will manage complexity, foster teamwork, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
