THIS IS THE JOB

As part of the project organization for pipeline construction projects, specific work contracts must be monitored. As an assistant to the project committee/project management, this position enables close monitoring of the provisions and prerequisites of the construction contract and, by extension, related contracts, in line with legal requirements, quality principles, reliability and safety, while taking budgetary considerations into account.

  • You will monitor various construction contracts, from the initial to the final phase of various new construction projects for our transportation infrastructure.
  • For these various projects, you will be responsible for :
o Monitoring budgets and schedules,

o Ensuring that orders and contracts are delivered on time.

o Ensuring that the various administrative and commercial clauses of these contracts are correctly applied.

  • You will do this in close consultation with the Project Board/Project Management and in consultation with the various internal and external parties.
  • You will report directly to the Project Board/Project Manager, taking part in site meetings (including administrative and contractual aspects) and reporting on them.
  • You will organize full project reporting for various purposes (Steerings, budget rooms, presentations for internal or external purposes, etc.)
THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

  • You have a Master’s degree (industrial sciences, commercial sciences, business management, law, etc.) and preferably 5 years’ experience in a project environment.
  • You are organized, flexible and proactive. You have excellent communication skills and know how to motivate others.
  • You enjoy working together, coordinating, negotiating and solving problems.
  • You are able to think outside the box and find new solutions.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English (mandatory)
  • You are willing to travel frequently in Belgium.
  • You hold a B driving license.
