Advice to design, develop and enhance a complex IS architecture involving highly distributed IT systems with heterogeneous technologies and the transition towards a mix of cloud-based and on premise solutions
Assistance with the implementation of the architecture, with the efficiency of operations in mind.
Assistance in performing the following activities:
Analysis of existing information systems,
Analysis of business processes,
Analysis of organisational structures,
Architecture maturity assessment,
Analysis and implementation of data extraction, transfer and load.
Contribution to defining and implementing the transition strategy (application and data) including preparation of transition and migration plans
Provision of technical studies, technical expertise, technical evaluations in relation with information systems architecture.
Production of design and analysis models, implementation models and/or deployment studies.
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users and the team in charge of the IT systems.

Qualifications

Required:

Master’s level or 5 years of higher education (2 years of professional experience can compensate 1 year of study)
Minimum 11 years of professional experience
Sound knowledge and proved experience in the area of Enterprise Architecture, in particular process and information systems modelling and analysis based on EA frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, etc.
Expertise and experience in architecting a Hybrid Cloud IT infrastructure (private/public cloud) with strong integration with existing corporate architecture with legacy components both on the Cloud and on premise
Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture and in system integration technologies (SOAP, REST, oData, API Management)
Expertise in security aspects of Information Systems and data protection
Proactive attitude, communicative (i.e. good listener) and customer/result oriented
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced technical writing skills
Ability to interface effectively with users, technical staff and (senior) management
Good communication skills (oral and written presentations and reports)
Good knowledge of written/spoken English (working language). Knowledge of French is an asset

Desirable:

Expertise and experience in implementing Human Capability Management solutions
Expertise and experience in BRMS (Business Rule Management System) and BPM (Business Process Management)
Expertise and experience in IT governance frameworks (COBIT)
Experience in the Public Sector
