Step into a high-impact financial leadership role at the heart of European operations.

Our client, a well-established B2B company operating in a dynamic logistics and industrial environment, is seeking a Finance Director to oversee financial strategy and performance across the Benelux region.

This role is based in Flanders (on-site presence required) and sits on the executive committee. You will act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, driving decision-making and long-term value creation in a fast-moving, multi-entity context.

What you will do

You will be responsible for the full financial scope across the region, as well as the IT function.

Your mission:

  • Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Ensure reliable, timely financial reporting across multiple countries and business lines
  • Oversee compliance, risk management, tax, and audit processes
  • Act as a key advisor to the executive committee and support strategic decisions
  • Manage and develop high-performing finance teams
  • Take ownership of regional IT operations: infrastructure, ERP systems, digital transformation
  • Coordinate IT/finance initiatives across local and group levels

What we are looking for

You are a senior finance leader with:

  • Solid experience in international, matrixed organisations
  • Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Expertise in group reporting, consolidation, and performance management
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset and strong business acumen
  • Experience with ERP systems and finance/IT transformation projects
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
