Functional Analyst for financial application

Keystone Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Functional/Business Analyst for an exciting temporary consultancy assignment. This opportunity involves working with a prestigious financial institution that plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of the Belgian financial system.

As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with this leading institution while bringing your expertise to their data analysis and reporting modernization efforts. This 3-month assignment starts on October 1, 2024, and offers a hybrid working model with 50% remote work.

Project Overview:

The focus of this project is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Business Objects (BO) reports generated by 12 different countries using the CashSSP application. The goal is to streamline and centralize these reports into PowerBI dashboards to enhance data consultation for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory and Cataloging of Reports: Analyze existing BO reports from multiple countries, identifying all reports created through the CashSSP application.
• Categorization: Organize reports based on business domains, identifying similarities, frequency of use, and types of reports (graphs, figures, etc.).
• Propose Consolidation: Develop a proposal for consolidating these reports into a minimal number of PowerBI dashboards, simplifying and modernizing reporting for the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Functional Analysis: Proven advanced experience in functional analysis, including the ability to autonomously lead the analysis process and provide proactive solutions.
• Business Objects (BO): Advanced knowledge of SAP BO (WEBI), with recent experience in similar projects.
• PowerBI: Intermediate experience in PowerBI with a focus on dashboard creation and report consolidation.
• MS SQL Server: Intermediate-level skills in MS SQL Server with recent project experience.
• Non-functional Requirements Design: Familiarity with performance, security, and query optimization in data models.
• Development Tools: Intermediate proficiency with tools such as GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Visual Paradigm.
• Data Design: Advanced experience with conceptual/logical data models, ERDs, and Big Data systems.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering (interview techniques, brainstorming).
• 5+ years of experience in application design and functional analysis, including cloud native or cloud migration projects (preferably with Microsoft Azure).
• Languages: Fluent in Dutch and French, with professional proficiency in English.
